Cardiff Group of Advanced Motorists

The Cardiff Group, which is a voluntary organisation, and is affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). It consists of full members ie those who have passed the Advanced Driving Test and Associate Members ie those who are preparing for the test.

An elected Committee includes a President, Chairperson, Treasure. Membership Co-ordinator and Committee Members who have various roles to administer the Group.

We currently have over 500 members.

Membership Cost:

Associate Members:

£99.00 or £89.00 (if under 25) for the first year through a package called Skill For Life which can be Purchased either through the local Membership Co-ordinator (click the Skill For Life link on the left). or via IAM House, London at www.IAM.org.uk The fee is then £15.00 for two years.

Full Members:

£8.00 per annum or £15.00 for two years.

Both the Associate and Full member fee are separate payments (to the local branch) to those of IAM House in London.

The group's finances are professionally audited annually and they are presented at the AGM every September.
