The Cardiff Group, which is a voluntary organisation, and is affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM).  It consists of full members ie those who have passed the Advanced Driving Test and Associate Members ie those who are preparing for the test.

An elected Committee includes a President, Chairperson, Treasurer.  Membership

Co-ordinator and Committee Members have various roles to administer within the Group.
  

We currently have 500 members.

 

Membership Cost:

  

Associate Members:

£139.00 for the first year through a package called Skill For Life which can be purchased either through the our Membership Co-ordinator
(click the Skill For Life link on the left), or via the IAM website, see tab above.

After the first year you will need to pay the local group £15.00 per year until you become a full member.

 

Full Members:

£8.00 per annum or £15.00 for two years.

  

Both the Associate and Full membership fee are separate payments (to the local branch) to those of IAM House in London.

  

The group's finances are professionally audited annually and they are presented at the AGM every October.
